Foundation News: December 2016

People used to say that San Francisco State University was one of the Bay Area's best-kept secrets. Time and again I've seen great work that challenges this notion of SF State as a high-quality yet low-profile institution. The accomplishments noted below are just a few recent examples among many this year that helped raise the University's stature locally, nationally, and internationally.

Your work on the Foundation Board is integral to the University's advancement and success. You bring extraordinary insight and expertise to bear on challenging issues while propelling our students and faculty forward with your enthusiastic support.

In the past year, nearly 80% of board members made gifts to the University, demonstrating yet again a firm commitment to promoting excellence at SF State. My heartfelt thanks to all of you. If you have not yet included SF State in your philanthropic plans for this year, thank you for considering this. I’d be happy to discuss opportunities with you, or visit:

I look forward to even more to celebrate in 2017!
